Originally a conversion of a Grade II listed Victorian Stable Block to house a major collection of bicycles and cycling memorabilia, the building has been adapted to incorporate the whole of the town's museum function.
In 2004 we undertook a feasibility study to expand the building to provide additional display, education and recreational space.
Civic Trust Award for an outstanding contribution to the quality and appearance of the environment.
