  • AD has worked with sports and leisure consultants Torkildsen Barclay, the Council’s Development and Regeneration Department and Barn Elms Sports Trust to deliver a scheme which regenerates the very sensitive Barn Elms Playing Field site between Barnes Common and the River Thames.
    This process includes the development of an overall site strategy through public consultation, negotiations with local planning authority and other stakeholders (including the Environment Agency and English Nature, due to the adjoining London Wetlands SSSI). AD has prepared a master plan which will include facilities for football, cricket, athletics and angling and has designed a new changing pavilion to achieve BREEAM Excellent standard.
