Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all at AD Architects.
As in previous years, instead of sending Christmas cards, we are making a charitable donation to the Harlow Hub of the children’s charity Place2Be.
Our involvement in the design of the new Harlow University Technical College, due to open in 2014, is part of our 30 year association with the town, where our clients have included Harlow Council, Glaxo SmithKline, Pearson Education, Harlow College and Anglia Ruskin University.
Place2Be operates within nine schools in Harlow, providing early intervention mental health support to 4-14 year olds. Place2Be removes the emotional barriers to learning and prevents the downward spiral that can lead to low aspirations, poor educational achievement, truancy and exclusion from school. They help improve children’s classroom learning and build their resilience, providing them with brighter prospects and hopeful futures.
