Lord Mayor of London opens new Tercentenary Building at Strode’s College

On 11th May the Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Ian Luder, opened the new Tercentenary Building at Strode’s College in Egham, one of two recently completed buildings designed by AD. The new buildings contain teaching and staff accommodation and include a new student refectory. The local planning authority required them to have a traditional appearance due to the historic site context and the adjacency to Grade II listed almshouses. The photo below shows the Lord Mayor with the College Principal, Dr Frank Botham (left) and the Chairman of the Governors, Mr Phil Ratcliff.
