Lister Hospital gets Go Ahead from Secretary of State for Health

Andrew Lansley, Secretary of State for Health, has visited Lister Hospital, Stevenage and announced the Department of Health and HM Treasury approval of the Trust’s £71.5 million outline business case which paves the way for the Lister’s final redevelopment into the main acute hospital for East and North Hertfordshire.

Two of the largest buildings within this project, the creation of the Lister’s new emergency department and ward block are being designed by AD and are expected to be ready towards the end of 2013.
