AD Sponsors Plaque Commemorating Gibberd Centenary
AD has sponsored a commemorating the centenary of the birth of Sir Frederick Gibberd, the architect and master planner of Harlow. We were invited by Harlow Council to sponsor the blue plaque in the Water Gardens in recognition of our involvement in the town for over thirty years. During this time we have completed numerous schemes in the town including the Civic Trust Award-winning Museum, the redevelopment of Harlow College and various regeneration projects. We were also the Council's Technical Adviser for the Water Gardens project itself. The photographs below show the plaque in its setting and the presentation of a cheque by AD Director Alan Whittingham (right) to Moira Jones, Stan Newens and Ron Bill of Harlow Civic Society.
