Previously Associate Partner at David Hutchison Partnership establishing its London office for the master planning of the first Royal London PFI scheme. Before that, healthcare architect at Devereux Architects.

Worked at all levels of healthcare building procurement, including site development control and strategic planning, feasibility studies, outline and full business cases, user consultation, outline and detail design, contract management, and on-site inspection. Provided client-side Technical Advisor and Estates Strategy services for Primary Care and Acute Trusts

Architect and design team lead on healthcare projects since 1990.

Architect for the new build relocation of Women’s Services and MaternityHospital; Queen Charlotte’s and ChelseaHospital to the HammersmithHospital site. Traditional contract for £15m.

Hemel Hempstead Hospital schemes including MRI, Outpatients department, Medical Records, Fracture clinic, Chest clinc, Endoscopy, Audiology, Dermatology, Diabetes, Midwifery-led Maternity Services and Cardiology services.

St Albans City Hospital schemes including Breast Clinic, Ophthalmology, MIU, and Outpatients Clinics

Mount Vernon Hospital Brachytherapy, Chemotherapy and LinAcc Papworth Hospital Diagnostic Centre and Thoracic day and inpatient extention

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust Estate Strategy for Lister and QEII hospitals. Lister Hospital Multidisciplinary Education Centre, Day surgery, Maternity (obstretrician and midwife led), NICU, and Outpatients Architect for PCT’s on development of Community DTC’s, MIU. PFI schemes for QMH ACAD £22m and Royal London £200m.

Architect for other acute Trusts for Oncology, ITU, TSSU, GUM, Urology, Physiotherapy, Cardiac Catherterisation, MRI, and new entrance facilities.

Also architect for veterinary, commercial, agricultural and retail projects
